Presents for Procrastinators

I'll be selling my little magnet guys, prints, wallets, paintings, catnip toys etc. here this weekend, again sharing a table with Allie Tiedeman. Allie has handmade cold-process soap, hand-crocheted washcloths and perfume solids.

On December 18, 2010 from 11am-5pm, ART DEPARTMENT presents its inaugural Presents for Procrastinators” Artisan Holiday Market event.

ART DEPARTMENT 1315 SE 9th Avenue in Portland
For one day only, the ART DEPARTMENT warehouse will transform into a bustling local marketplace. From intricate handmade jewelry and baubles to fabulous clothing from emerging designers, and from collections of modified vintage treasures to gorgeous illustrations, the market has an item for even the toughest person on your shopping list. It’s an event designed to unite art and local commerce, while offering a place for crafters to network and build community. It’s also a great chance for attendees to support our vibrant local economy.

Domo Dogs will be onsite, vending their delicious Japanese-fusion hot dogs, and wine tastings will be offered to adults by Hip Chicks Do Wine, who will also be selling bottles of their locally-made wine. In case you get thirsty, Captured by Porches will also be pouring their delicious craft beer to grown-ups throughout the afternoon. Post-shopping sugar rushes will be provided by Miss Zumstein Cakes and Desserts, who will be sampling treats and taking holiday orders.

Time for Post-Its

Once again, Giant Robot is having their amazing show of painfully affordable art by hundreds of upsettingly talented artists. I'm honored to be in such distressingly dazzling company.

Post-It Show 6 at GR2
